I have had a question for a while - namely, what are the literary traces of the Harappan urban period in the literature? There has to be some memory of several large cities being abandoned. E.g., specifically, what is the place name associated with what is now Rakhigarhi, which is around 124 kilometers by road today from Kurukshetra?

Another question I had is - if Meluhha is indeed the Sumerian name for some portion of the Sindhu-Saraswati region, is it derived from some word in Sanskrit?
